Australia's part in World War 1

Australia got independent of England in 1901. Australia choose to take the British site, through out world war 1. from 1914-1918.

Australia's early involvement in the Great War included the Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force landing at Rabaul on 11 September 1914 and taking possession of German New Guinea at Toma on 17 September 1914 and the neighbouring islands of the Bismarck Archipelago in October 1914. On 14 November 1914 the Royal Australian Navy made a significant contribution when HMAS Sydneydestroyed the German raider SMS Emden.

On 25 April 1915 members of the Australian Imperial Force landed at Gallipoli together with troops from New Zealand, Britain, and France. This began a campaign that ended with the evacuation of troops on 19 and 20 December 1915. Following Gallipoli, Australian forces fought campaigns on the Western Front and in the Middle East.

Throughout 1916 and 1917 losses on the Western Front were heavy and gains were small. In 1918 the Australians reached the peak of their fighting performance in the battle of Hamel on 4 July. From 8 August they then took part in a series of decisive advances until Germany surrendered on 11 November.

Australia even participated in World War 2, but in this time, not under the British army.

Aboriginals provenience

It says that the Aboriginals has lived minimum 55.700 years. Scientist has found out, that the Aboriginals could have lived in Australia up to 176.000 years before Christ. Scientist are pretty sure that Aboriginals was a developed race of Homo Sapiens, the same race as us. The Aboriginals has no written language, so that why there is no sign of their historical development. The only thing they hat was murals, the rest of villages and the equipment they could find. That way they lived has changed until 1788. The scientist is pretty dissident about the number of natives, it goes from 100.000 to 600.000. So scientist don’t exactly know how the Aboriginals race came to the world, they have some thoughts, but they can’t be sure if they don’t have evidence.

British arriving at Australia

In 1770 the british declared Australia no-mans land, even though there were inhabitants. 16 years later they made it a british colony. In these years the prisons were overflowing with prisoners, and the british decided to send all these convicts to Australia. As the colony grew, the Aboriginals began to get pushed away, and during the years afterwards, they killed many Aboriginals with poison in their waterholes and guns. Furthermore they arranged their breeding programs, where they tried to breed the aboriginal genes out of Australia.

Stolen Generation

According to the british, Australia was discovered by James Cook. James Cook was captain on many
exploring travels, and the british meant that what they ''discovered'' was theirs to keep, even though there were already people living there. This was what happened when they ''discovered'' Australia. The original inhabitants of Australia is called Aboriginals. The aboriginals was treated very bad by the english. This is maybe because the english considered themselves the 'pure' race, and they used all means to eradicate the Aboriginals. The methods they used to exterminate the Aboriginals included poisoning waterholes, killing them with guns and breeding them out. The breeding was probably to avoid the inhumanity of killing them. The breeding was a part of the plan that would secure the british looks etc. in Australia. It all followed a breeding manual, which was carefully produced, to combine the genes, so everyone would end up being white. For example if you combined an aboriginal with a white, you would get a half-breed, and if you then combined the half-breed with a full-blood white, the result would be a white person. This is of course a disgusting way to see human being, but it doesn't stop here. They wanted to make the aboriginals white of looks and of manners, so they stole children from their parents, so they could educate them.
All this madness is why those children are called ''The Stolen Generation''
